Family-owned since 2011

One crew, one foreman, one phone number.

Marcus Alvarez started Ridgeline after fifteen years painting for someone else, tired of watching subcontractors get swapped mid-job and homeowners find out from a stranger on their porch.

Every painter here is on our payroll. Nobody is a day-labor sub, everyone is background-checked, and the foreman who walks your house on day one is the same person who walks the punch list with you at the end.

What we hold ourselves to

Price it before we touch it

A line-item scope, not a square-foot guess. If something changes, you approve it in writing first.

Say the bad news early

Rot behind the fascia, a ceiling that needs replacing, weather pushing the finish date — you hear it the day we know.

Leave it cleaner than we found it

Swept and picked up every evening, washout collected, leftovers dropped at county recycling.

How we got here

2011

Marcus and one van, painting interiors in Silver Lake and Echo Park.

2015

First full exterior crew, EPA lead-safe certification, and the two-year written warranty we still use.

2019

Commercial division opens with night crews for retail and multifamily turns.

2026

Three crews, 195 ZIP codes, 3,200 homes painted, and low-VOC as the default on every interior quote.

The people in your house

Everyone on a Ridgeline crew is on our payroll, background-checked, and in a company shirt.
